“I found Arabella from a general Google search, I’ve always been lucky enough to have my make-up done by friends for big event so this was the first time (for my wedding) that I had had to find someone external! All of her reviews were positive, she seemed trustworthy and took a professional approach to the contract and payment which filled me with assurance. I first met Arabella for my hair and make-up trial about 6 weeks before my wedding. She was prompt and we talked through the importance of me being honest with how she was doing my hair and make-up. We had a lovely time that afternoon, but before she left, Arabella said – ‘give your hair and make-up a big test tonight. See how it lasts because the wedding day was going to be at least 11 hours long’. On the big day she was right on time, she looked after my mum’s make-up first and with me she was calm, funny, relaxing, confident and most of all – when we had just a little drama around the bouquet – she genuinely helped to sort out the problem (waaaaay out of her jurisdiction), but it really felt as if she cared that I was at my best, ready to get married.
