arabella hewitt professional hair and make up artist
On your wedding day, you want natural make up, that looks like you but on a really good day. You want it to look good in real life and on camera. You also want it to work in a variety of locations and it needs to look fresh and flawless all day. Phew that’s quite a brief!! Good news is, I’ve been helping brides look their very best on their wedding day for the past ten years. I know how a wedding morning will run and that’s where I can help. Bring me your ideas and let’s create something gorgeous - whether it’s natural, glowing, flawless, soft or smokey. I have a medley of brands in my kit. I choose products based on their quality, performance and durability. Products usually only make it into my kit, once they have been tried and tested in my own makeup bag, before receiving my seal of approval. Most of the essential products in my kit are by: MAC, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury and By Terry.
Over the past ten years, I have spent a lot of time investing in my skill set. I trained at London College of Fashion and since graduating with a BA (hons) in Make Up and Prosthetics for the Performing Arts, I have done several training courses with LoveHair and Kevin Fortune. What does this mean to you as a bride? I am constantly learning, honing my skills and ahead of the game in the latest trends and techniques. I am also a part of a wider network of awesome, talented stylists where we share ideas, experiences and continually learn from each other. This means I can nail any look you suggest and we are able to create something fresh, new and bespoke to you rather than just recreating something that’s already been done before.

why you need a professional makeup artist for your wedding
When looking for a bridal make up artist, most brides think they just need to find someone who can do a good job of their hair and make up on their wedding day. Whilst this is true a trained make up artist provides much more as well.
I have a lot of experience with wedding days (wedding mornings can be hectic, full on and busy). Your make up needs to last a really long time – often all day and all night. It also needs to look great in real life and in your wedding photos. The make up also needs to look right in a variety of locations – inside and outside, in daylight and also in the evening light. These are all factors that I take into account when helping you to look your best for your wedding day.
“You are a star, a legend, a great talent!! And I have so much to thank you for. Your calm professionalism, patience and creative honesty were invaluable to me at such a huge moment in my life – you made it easier to handle, even though my nerves and stress sometimes got the better of me. On the day, you kept me grounded and even helped me into my dress and lift the train of my dress before I got into the car – thank you. I received many compliments on the make-up and I could not sing your praises enough.”Siobhan Cullen, married at Goodwood House wedding venue near Chichester, West Sussex.
